Recommendations


There are several different styles of yoga and while our staff is trained to lead sessions that will accommodate a range of experience, here are a few recommendations to get the most out of your visit to our studio.

For your first yoga experience we recommend Yoga 101, Gentle, Gentle/Moderate or Hot Gentle class. Private instruction also available.

If you are looking for a more rigorous session, try the Moderate, Vigorous or Hot Vigorous classes.

Our Classes

Gentle: For beginners and everyone interested. A focus on flexibility.

Includes basic breathing practices as well as a variety of standing, sitting, and lying postures. This class is gentle enough for all types of students, and provides a focus on flexibility.

Moderate: For everyone. A focus on both flexibility and strength.

Practice includes a variety of foundational postures (standing, seated, and on the floor), longer holding, and breathwork. Instructors provide a high level of instruction and suggestions (ways to make movement less or more challenging). All levels will find an appropriate level of personal challenge in the movement as well as deep restoration.

Vigorous: For more experienced practitioners. A focus on strength.

A physically challenging class that develops strength and endurance. This class will make you sweat!

Heated Moderate/Vigorous: These classes are the same as regular moderate and vigorous classes, however moderate is performed in a room heated to 80-85 degrees. Vigorous is heated to 85-90 degrees and is to set to modern music.

Yoga 101: A four week series, starting the first Wednesday of each month. Designed to teach the fundamentals of yoga. Price is $60 for four week series, and includes a pass for one regularly scheduled yoga class of your choice upon completion of series.

SimplyYogaKids: Children ages 3-7. Each week, children will be participate in an adventure that incorporates yoga poses and mind body elements such as right and left brain balance, cooperation and creative expression.

Teen Yoga: Designed for teens of all levels. Poses will enhace flexability, strength and body awareness. The class incorporates modern upbeat music. Students are welcome to bring music to be played in the next class.
